Bain Capital and Pfizer form Cerevel Therapeutics, Bain commits $350 mln
Bain Capital LP and Pfizer Inc have formed Cerevel Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on drug candidates to treat disorders of the central nervous system. Bain Capital has committed $350 million to Cerevel. Centerview Partners provided financial advice to Pfizer on the transaction with Arnold & Porter providing legal counsel. And, Goldman Sachs advised Bain Capital while Ropes & Gray served as legal counsel. PriceWaterhouseCooper acted as accounting adviser to Bain Capital.
