Baird Capital's MedPlast buys UK-based Orthoplastics

MedPlast, a portfolio company of Baird Capital, has purchased Orthoplastics, Ltd. JZ Capital Partners Ltd. and River Cities Capital Funds co-invested in the acquisition. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal. Based in the UK, Orthoplastics is a maker of ultra-high-molecular-weight-polyethylene for the global orthopedic implant market.
