Great Rock provides $10 mln to nursing and assisted living operator

Great Rock Capital has provided a $10 million credit facility to an unidentified nursing and assisted living provider that operates 64 facilities in the Southwest. The capital infusion will be used for growth.

PE-backed DirectPath and Flores & Associates merge

DirectPath, a provider of personalized benefits education, health care transparency and compliance solutions, has merged with Flores & Associates, an administrator of tax-advantaged consumer directed health plans and COBRA/retiree billing administration. No financial terms were disclosed. Michael Byers, current CEO of DirectPath, will become CEO of the newly combined company. DirectPath and Flores & Associates are portfolio companies of Century Partners.

Kodiak Sciences sets IPO pricing terms

Palo Alto, California-based Kodiak Sciences Inc, a biopharmaceutical company focused on treating chronic retinal diseases, has priced its IPO of 9 million shares at between $13 and $15 per share. Kodiak will list the stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "KOD." Morgan Stanley and BofA Merrill Lynch are the lead underwriters. Kodiak is backed by ArrowMark Partners and Perceptive Advisors, according to Crunchbase.

Locus Point pulls in over $312 mln for new private credit fund

Locust Point Capital has raised over $312 million for its new private credit fund, according to an SEC filing. Red Bank, New Jersey-based Locus Point is a specialty finance company for small to mid-sized healthcare providers.

Abingworth taps Gallagher as a partner for Boston office

UK-based Abingworth, an investment firm focused on life sciences, has named Dr. Brian Gallagher as a partner. Previously, he worked at SR One, the venture capital arm of GlaxoSmithKline, where he was a partner and established the company's Boston office. Gallagher will be based in Abingworth's Boston office.

VC-backed Y-mAbs Therapeutics goes public

New York and Denver-based Y-mAbs Therapeutics, a developer of cancer treatments, has raised $96 million for its IPO after pricing its 6 million shares at $16 per share. The stock began trading September 21, 2018 on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "YMAB." BofA Merrill Lynch and Cowen are the lead underwriers. Y-mAbs Therapeutics Inc' pre-IPO investors included Sofinnova Ventures and Scopia Capital Management.

PE-backed Sonas acquires Advanced Nursing Solutions

Sonas Home Health Care, which is backed by Boyne Capital, has acquired Tampa, Florida-based Advanced Nursing Solutions, a pediatric home-care provider. No financial terms were disclosed.
