The properties are based at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL; Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO; Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX; and University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. No financial terms were disclosed.

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Cyrela Brazil Realty have agreed to form a joint venture to develop a portfolio of residential real estate across select neighborhoods in São Paulo, Brazil. The JV will invest up to $358 in combined equity. CPPIB will own an 80 percent stake in the JV while Cyrela will own the remaining 20 percent stake.

Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation has named Bryan Donohoe as CEO. His appointment becomes effective December 5, 2019. Also, Donohoe has been named partner in the Ares Real Estate Group and head of real estate debt.
