Dell, Silver Lake Boost Buyout Offer for PC Maker to $13.75 a share

Dell's special committee said Wednesday that Michael Dell and Silver Lake have boosted their offer for the company to $13.75 a share cash. The prior offer was $13.65 a share. The special committee said that in light of the revised offer it has adjourned the special meeting of stockholders, which was scheduled to vote on the buyout today, until Aug. 2.
