Good news for private equity managers: allocations to the asset class are increasing.

Around one-third of limited partners plan to raise their private equity exposure over the next 12 months, more than any other asset class, according to the PEI LP Perspectives 2019 survey published in December.

Investors have high hopes too for the asset class, with more than 90 percent of LPs believing private equity will meet or exceed its benchmark this year.
