Genstar buys Prometheus Group for more than $1 bln

Genstar Capital said May 30 that it bought Prometheus Group from Francisco Partners for over $1 billion. Eric Huang, CEO and founder of Prometheus, will remain a significant shareholder of the company. Prometheus, of Raleigh, North Carolina, provides plant maintenance operations and optimization software.
