Gresham strengthens investment team(3)

Gresham, a London-based private equity firm, has recruited a new investment director and a new research & origination manager for its investment team.

UK mid-market firm Gresham has hired Iain Wolstenholme to be investment director and Peter Lahoud to be research & origination manager.

Before Gresham, Wolstenholme worked at Ernst & Young in corporate finance. He will be based in Manchester.

Lahoud was previously a consultant at Library House, a Cambridge-based intelligence company, where he researched private equity deal origination. He will work alongside Gary Ward in Gresham’s deal origination team, and will be based in London.

The private equity firm recently backed the £48 million buyout of Town Centre Restaurants, one of the UK’s largest privately owned restaurant group. Gresham has offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
