Healthcare software firms RL and PE-backed Datix to merge

RL Solutions and Datix, which are providers of healthcare quality and patient safety software, are merging. No financial terms were disclosed. Seyed Mortazavi, Datix CEO, will take over chief executive duties of the combined company. Datix is backed by TA Associates. The closing of the deal should happen within the next few weeks.
