Ohio Police and Fire approves $20m commitment

Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund has approved a commitment of up to $20 million to Odyssey Investment Partners Fund VI, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International. The buyout fund will target middle-market companies with a focus on the industrial and business services sectors, primarily in North America.

The $15.75 billion US public pension has an 8.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.4 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the pension has made seven commitments to private equity funds with a 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $200 million.
