Rush to the polls: Less than 24 hours remain to vote

Will CVC trump Apax as best European LBO firm? Will Squadron keep its lead in the best Asian fund of funds category? Can Clayton Dubilier & Rice maintain its title as best North American buyout house? Your vote matters greatly in what are the industry’s only global awards to be decided entirely by the private equity industry itself – not our publications’ editors.

Time is quickly running out to select the winners in the eighth annual Private Equity International Awards.

Today is the last day to weigh in on the many highly competitive regional categories that your vote will influence. And you may also nominate “Global Champions”, or the handful of institutions and events you think had the biggest global impact on private equity last year.

The rules are simple: You may only vote once, you are not required to vote in all categories – only vote in the categories that are of interest to you – and you may not vote for yourself or your own firm.

The results will be published simultaneously on PrivateEquityOnline and in the Annual Review, our in-depth look at the prior year, which is printed at the end of February 2009 and released with the March issue of Private Equity International.

Awards winners and their guests will be invited to join us at the second annual Private Equity International Awards Global Winners' Celebration, which will take place on 4 June at London's magnificent Victoria & Albert museum.
