SFERS approves $90m in commitments

The US public pension has backed an Asia and two North America focused funds.

San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System announced commitments of $10 million to Knightsbridge Venture Capital Secondaries Fund II, $30 million to MPGC II FRG Co-Investment and $50 million to MBK Partners V.

The US public pension has an 18.00 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 20.90 percent. SFERS has committed a total of $1.91 billion to private equity so far in 2019.
