State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio has approved a commitment of $75 million to Veritas Capital Fund VII, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The $79.15 billion US public pension has a 7.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 7.70 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the fund has made two other commitments to private equity vehicles with a 2019 vintage: $125 million to a mezzanine joint venture with Whitehorse Finance and $100 million to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund X.
