TA Associates Completes Investment in Evanston Capital

Private equity firm TA Associates has acquired a minority stake in Evanston Capital Management, an Illinois-based hedge fund-of-funds manager. Financial terms of the deal were not released. Middle-market buyout shop TA Associates has more than $16 billion in capital, and offices in Boston, London, Mumbai, and Menlo Park, Calif.
