Landon Tucker has joined Fifth Wall Ventures as its first entrepreneur-in-residence, according to a blog post from Brad Greiwe, co-founder and managing partner. Tucker was previously a senior analyst at Trian Fund Management. Andriy Mykhaylovskyy has also joined Fifth Wall as principal and COO. Mykhaylovskyy was previously with Elliot Management.

Jerusalem-based Gamida Cell, a provider of cellular and immune therapies that treat cancer and orphan genetic diseases, has appointed Nobel laureate Roger Kornberg and Dr. Michael Perry, a retired Novartis executive, to its board of directors. A professor of structural biology at Stanford Medical School, Kornberg won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2006. Gamida Cell's backers include Novartis, Elbit Imaging, Clal Biotechnology Industries, Israel Healthcare Venture, Denali Ventures and Auriga Ventures.

Previously, he worked at Symantec where he served as executive vice president and CFO. Yaletown Partners has gone national by planting its flag in Montréal and introducing new team members, including the head of Open Text’s venture program. The Vancouver investor, which is raising a $135 million growth equity fund, on its website announced the opening of a Montréal office and recruitment of three senior investment pros. The hires include David Harris Kolada, who joins Yaletown as a venture partner. Harris Kolada most recently served as OpenText’s vice president, venture capital, overseeing all aspects of the software company’s $100 million strategy.

Proterra, a maker of zero-emission vehicles that enable bus fleet operators to eliminate the dependency on fossil fuels, has named Amy Ard as chief financial officer. Previously, Ard worked at Advanced Metallurgical Group where she served as CFO. Rackspace said May 24 that it named Joe Eazor its new CEO effective June 12th. Most recently, Eazor was CEO of EarthLink. Jeff Cotten, who has served as Rackspace’s interim CEO, will continue as president. Rackspace is a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management.
