Washington State Investment Board has committed up to $200 million to Insight Venture Partners XI and up to $250 million to Madison Dearborn Capital Partners VIII, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The $139.60 billion US public pension has a 23.00 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 16.63 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the fund has made eight commitments to private equity funds in 2019, which combined constitute $3.20 billion.
