Mastercard to buy Nets payment unit for $3.19 bln

Mastercard said Aug. 6 that it agreed to buy Nets' account-to-account payment business for 2.85 billion euros (about $3.19 billion). The deal includes the clearing and instant payment services, as well as e-billing solutions, of Nets’ corporate services business.
