Jarden Corp. said Tuesday it agreed to buy Yankee Candle Investments from Madison Dearborn Partners for about $1.75 billion cash. The deal is expected to close early in fourth quarter. Jarden said it will fund the deal with cash on hand, common equity and the balance through a mix of bank debt and bonds. MDP put Yankee Candle up for sale earlier this year.

Aquiline Capital Partners and Genstar Capital Management have closed their buy of Genworth Wealth Management for $412.5 million. The seller is Genworth Financial. The deal, which was announced in March, includes Genworth Financial Wealth Management and Altegris.

The Riverside Company has acquired Rutland Plastics. Financial terms weren't announced. Pineville, N.C.-based Rutland provides premium screen printing inks for the apparel industry and plastisol compounds that are used in coating, molding, and other applications for automotive and industrial customers. BMO Harris Bank and GE Antares Capital provided senior financing and PNC Erieview Capital provided mezzanine financing for the transaction.

The Riverside Company has sold AIA Corp. The buyer is McNally Capital. Financial terms weren't announced. Neenah, Wis.-based AIA provides promotional products and corporate apparel through roughly 300 affiliates in the U.S.

The Riverside Company has acquired Kyjen Co. Financial terms weren't announced. Centennial, Colo.-based Kyjen designs and distributes branded dog toys such as Plush Puppies, Invincibles, Outward Hound and Dog Games. Deerpath provided the financing for the deal.

Bermuda-based Equinox is an alternative fund administration firm with over $12.5 billion of assets under administration. Barrington Partners provided financial advice to Estancia.

Amdocs has agreed to buy Actix for about $120 million in cash. The boards of Actix and Amdoc have approved the deal, which is expected to close by the end of September. London-based Actix creates software platforms that help mobile operators to deliver better customer experiences. Summit Partners invested in Actix in 2005.

ForgeRock said Tuesday that John Fernandez was named CFO, while Jamie Dudley was appointed senior VP of sales. And, Neil Weston was named ForgeRock's senior VP of sales, international. Before joining ForgeRock, Fernandez was SVP of finance at Rearden Commerce, while Dudley most recently ran worldwide sales operations at Boundary and Nimsoft. Weston previously was SVP of Nuance Communications. In April, ForgeRock, an open platform provider of identity and access management solutions, closed a $15 million Series B round led by Foundation Capital.

Pamlico Capital has made a "significant" investment in Physicians Endoscopy. Financial terms weren't announced. The seller was Silver Oak Services Partners. Jamison, Pa.-based Physicians Endoscopy develops and manages freestanding, single-specialty endoscopic Ambulatory Surgery Centers in partnership with practicing physicians and hospitals. Piper Jaffray & Co. provided financial advice to Physicians Endoscopy.
