VICI Properties Inc, a real estate investment trust that spun off from Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, has named David Kieske as special adviser to CEO Ed Pitoniak. Kieske's appointment becomes effective November 27, 2017. VICI has also appointed Kieske to become executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective January 1, 2018. He will succeed Mary Beth Higgins who will remain in a consulting position during the transition.

No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction that was done in a joint venture with an LEI investment client. The apartment property has been renamed Ascend St. Charles. Moran & Co. represented AMLI on the deal while Hunt Mortgage Group arranged the financing.

The limited partners of the SIA Debt Opportunities Fund included the University of Michigan, AZ Public Safety Personnel Retirement System pension and an unnamed Midwest and New York family office.
