Jernigan Capital Inc has invested $20.1 million in Miami-based self-storage project. Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2018 and to be completed in the third quarter of 2019. Mequity, LLC is serving as the developer of the proposed project.

SL Green Realty Corp has agreed to sell 600 Lexington Avenue, a midtown Manhattan office building, for $305 million. The buyer was not named. The deal is expected to close by the first quarter of 2018.

Toronto-based Avison Young, a commercial real estate services firm, has opened a new office in Silicon Valley/San Jose, California. The new American office will be the firm's 11th office in California and 55th in the U.S. Gregg von Thaden will join the San Jose/Silicon Valley office as managing director and principal of the firm. Among those joining him as principals in the same office are Brian Mason and Ryan Slater. Avison Young is a portfolio company of Canadian private equity firm Parallel49 Equity.
