Previously, Garcia worked at Morgan Stanley where he advised high-net-worth clients and business owners while Jeffers was a director at AIG Global Real Estate in New York City.

Federal Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm, has acquired Charlotte, North Carolina-based Hunters Pointe Apartments, a 386-unit, garden-style apartment community. The price of the acquisition was $22 million. FCP is planning on investing more than $2 million in Hunters Pointe to make capital improvements and add amenities, such as a new swimming pool, a new playground, a dog park and grilling stations.

Also, as part of the deal, the Marq will undergo a $1.5 million renovation that is expected to be finished for the fall 2018 academic year.
