Warburg Pincus XII offers small LPs broad exposure to directs
Warburg Pincus has realized more than $75 billion from its investments since it launched its private equity fund in 1971, and the last two-and-a-half years rank among its most profitable. The firm distributed roughly $25 billion to limited partners between December 2012 and March 2015, according to recent report prepared for one of its LPs, a sum that should provide investors ample reason to commit capital to the firm’s latest $12 billion flagship fund.
