Ohio Police and Fire approves $20m commitment

Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund has agreed to commit $20 million to MBK Partners V, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International. This marks Ohio Police and Fires’s first private equity commitment of 2020.

The $16.42 billion US public pension has an 8.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.30 percent.

As illustrated below, Ohio Police and Fire has made eight commitments to private equity funds with a 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $220 million.
