Berkshire Partners director passes at 47

Client services head Jeanine Neumann has died following a battle with cancer. She spent 22 years at the Boston middle-market private equity firm.

Jeanine Neumann, longtime director of client services at Berkshire Partners, has passed away from a recurrence of cancer. She was 47.

Neumann was one of Berkshire’s first employees, joining the Boston middle-market private equity firm in 1986. As director of client services, she managed investor relations, marketing, communications and events.

“We are forever grateful tor Jeanine’s personal and professional contributions that have touched each of us over the past 22 years,” the firm said in a statement.

Neumann’s family suggests that donations be made in her honour to The Greater Boston Food Bank.
