Air Liquide rising northwards

The private equity arm of the French industrial and medical gases company is opening a new office in Stockholm to expand its northern European presence.

Air Liquide Ventures, the pan-European investment fund, is opening a new office in Stockholm, Sweden.

The fund concentrates on investing in information technologies in Europe. “By creating synergies between the fund’s network of young start-ups and Air Liquide’s solid portfolio of international customers, Air Liquide Ventures best provides value-added, timely responses to investment opportunities and provides creative management,” commented François Feige, Fund President.

Air Liquide Ventures is a E40m venture capital fund covering England, Spain, Benelux and Germany, as well as Scandinavia.
