Allied Irish Banks hires for Germany

Jens Dienstbach, previously at IKB Deutsche Industriebank, has joined Allied Irish Banks to focus on acquisition finance activities in Germany.

Allied Irish Banks has strengthened its Frankfurt-based acquisition finance operation with the appointment of Jens Dienstbach as team leader of portfolio management Germany.
 
Dienstbach has joined from IKB Deutsche Industriebank, a German corporate bank, where he worked in portfolio management. At Allied Irish Banks, he will be responsible for expanding the bank’s acquisition finance activities in Germany.
 
Allied Irish Bank’s acquisition finance Germany team is headed by Kai Gebauer. Following Dienstbach’s appointment, the team numbers 10 and has completed more than 60 transactions and supplied more than €1 billion ($1.27 billion) of senior and mezzanine debt since its foundation in 2002.
 
Last October, Allied Irish Banks hired Jens Richter, previously head of German acquisition finance operations at KBC in Frankfurt, as vice president of its acquisition finance team.
