Bank of Scotland adds to Southampton office

Kendal Milne, an employee of 25 years, has been promoted from Scotland to Southampton to head the bank’s team of local dealmakers.

The Bank of Scotland has appointed Kendal Milne a director of structured finance. He replaces Alan Butterfield as head of the group’s Southampton office. Butterfield has taken a position in the group’s Sidney office.

Kendal has worked for Bank of Scotland for more than 25 years. Prior to joining the Southampton office, he was in the group’s Aberdeen branch where he completed several buyouts, acquisitions and mergers across Europe and in the US.

“The Southampton office has developed a strong base of corporate deals in the last 18 years, and I am looking forward getting to know the local business community to continue this,” he said.

Bank of Scotland corporate banking division consists of 31 global teams. In the last two years, the Southern UK team has invested around £200m in more than 30 transactions.
