Bessemer raises $1.85bn

The California-based venture capital firm held a final close on its tenth private equity fund.

Bessemer Venture Partners has announced a final close on its tenth fund, Bessemer Venture Partners X, at $1.85 billion. The fund surpasses its predecessor, Bessemer Venture Partners IX, which closed in February 2015 at $1.6 billion.
Bessemer Venture Partners X will invest in early-stage technology companies throughout the United States, India and Israel. The fund will invest in companies ranging from $50,000 to $100 million in size.
