Craig White, who specialised in private equity research and analysis at institutional investment consulting giant Callan Associates, has joined La Jolla, California-based Pacific Corporate Group.
At Callan, White was a vice president and investment consultant in the private markets consulting group. His primary clients were corporate and pension fund plan sponsors, according to Callan marketing literature.
White did not return a call seeking comment. It is unclear what role he will play at Pacific Corporate Group, long a dominant presence in the private equity advisory business.
Callan, based in San Francisco, is a generalist advisory firm with a broad range of consulting and “educational services”. Its private markets group is led by Gary Robertson.
Pacific Corporate was founded in 1979 by Chris Bower, the firm’s current chief executive officer. The firm manages more than $32 billion in private equity allocations, as well as manages funds of funds and direct investment funds.
