German laser measurement company takes E1.3m first round funding

Octocom, a Berlin-based company developing laser-based 3D measurement systems, has secured E1.3m first round funding from Dr Neuhaus Techno Nord, a German venture capital firm. The company combines software and 3D-scanning equipment to take architectural measurements from distances of 50 metres with only a 3mm deviation in accuracy.
