Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has hired two senior private equity executives to expand its alternatives business in New York and Boston.
Joshua Glaser has joined the firm in New York as director and global head of private equity for Deutsche’s global client group. He was previously the director of investor relations for secondary firm Paul Capital Partners, which he left in July, Private Equity International first reported. Glaser will report to Pascal Botteron, global head of alternative investments for the client group.
Deutsche has also hired Brian Chiappinelli in Boston as a director and North American product specialist for private equity. Chiappinelli joins from HarbourVest Partners where he worked on business development and client relations. Prior to HarbourVest, Chiappinelli worked at Batterymarch Financial Management and GE Asset Management, according to his Linkedin profile. He will report to Glaser.
Deutsche had €946 billion ($1.2 trillion; £784 billion) of assets under management as of 30 September. The wealth management and private banking firm is a division of Deutsche Bank Group.Â
