GED Capital has held a first close for its lower mid-market private equity fund, GED VI España. The fund has a target size of €175 million and expects to invest in eight to ten industrial companies with high growth potential.
Investors in the vehicle include insurance companies, mutual funds and family offices.
GED V España closed at €148.5 million in January 2018 and is now fully invested in seven companies with 12 bolt-on acquisitions. Instituto de Credito Oficial was among the investors in this fund.
