Dutch Venture Capital firm Gilde Investment Management has invested in horticultural company W/M Systems.

Gilde Participaties, an investment fund of Gilde Investment Management, has acquired 33 per cent of the share capital in W/M Systems, a company that produces greenhouse and internal logistic systems for the horticulture industry.

W/M Systems is the result of a joint venture between three companies, Hawe, Van Diemen and Wevab. Together they provide solutions for the horticulture industry. This includes building greenhouses with completely automated logistic and processing installations. Last year it realized sales of NLG100m (E45m).

Gilde Investment Management, has over E1.6bn committed capital. Since its inception in 1982 it has invested in over 150 companies. Recent buy-out transactions of Gilde are Peijnenburg, Gazelle, Norit, Rational and Janssen De Jong group.
