HealthCare Royalty Partners snags White for COO

Christopher White will come over from Janney

HealthCare Royalty Partners has hired Christopher White as COO, a newly established senior management position for the firm. White will oversee all non-investment operations for the firm including legal, compliance, finance and investor services.

Prior to joining the firm White was managing director and head of investment banking at Janney Montgomery Scott. White had an established relationship with HealthCare Royalty Partners, having served on both the investment and operating committees of the firm.

The firm is currently investing out of its $1.5 billion HealthCare Royalty Partners III, which closed in October, PEI reported at the time. The fund invests in commercial state health-care royalty contracts from sales of pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices.

Current investments include Raptor Pharmaceuticals, Swiss pharmaceutical company Cardiorentis AG, and Supernus Pharmaceuticals.
