Probitas Partners announced Tuesday that Robert “Mac” Hofeditz has been promoted to a partner of the firm.
Starting with Probitas in 2001 as a senior member of its project management team, Hofeditz was instrumental in the placement of ArcLight Capital Partners II, a $1.6 billion energy fund, and an above-target close of $210 million for venture fund Shasta Ventures in January.
“It’s been a lot of hard work,” Hofeditz said “It’s nice to see we’re hitting on all cylinders.”
Hofeditz said the firm closed 8 funds over the last year for a total of over $3.5 billion.
“We’re going to focus on building the business,” he said, of his future plans.
Before Probitas, Hofeditz served as the Director of Global Investments for AdvisorTech Corporation, where he helped launch new investment businesses in Japan, Korea and Germany. Prior to that, he was a consultant at institutional investor advisor Strategic Investment Solutions.
In related news, Kelsie Clark was also promoted to the project.
