Bodie will split his time between Drayton’s London and US East Coast offices, he wrote in the email. Drayton offers advisory services and capital in Trans-Atlantic special situations and growth companies. The advisory unit offers assistance to private equity firms and corporates in the UK, with subsidiaries in the US.

The firm also offers family office direct investments in US-based non-core assets of UK companies.

Prior to joining Kelso in 2005, Bodie worked at investment banking and management firm Singer & Friedlander, where he specialised in structured finance.

Kelso Place is investing its £100 million Fund IV, which was raised at the back end of 2009.
