Adams Street Partners' founder and partner, Kathy Wanner, will retire at year-end. She has spent 22 years at the firm.

International Finance Corporation is considering a $40 million commitment to Australis Partners Fund I, a private equity vehicle planning to make control or significant minority investments in seven to ten middle-market companies in Latin America.

 

29 October

Montana Board of Investments has named Joseph M. Cullen chief investment officer effective 2 November.

Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) has committed $30 million to OrbiMed Private Investments VI, £15 million to Livingbridge Enterprise 2 and $30 million to Denham Oil & Gas Fund. TCRS has previously committed to funds managed by OrbiMed Advisors and Denham Capital Management.

 

27 October

Federation of National Public Service Personnel Mutual Aid Associations issued Request for Proposal to make its debut alternative investments.

Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System announced a commitment of $10 million to Warburg Pincus XII at its October meeting.

 

26 October

The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System has agreed to commit $25 million to Tritium Partners’ debut fund and $5 million in co-investments.

 

23 October

The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund committed $40 million to Harvest Partners VII

 

22 October

In early October, the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System committed $30 million to the JFL Equity Investors IV.

 

9 October

Texas County and District Retirement System has committed $50 million to Shamrock Capital Growth Fund IV. The transaction was finalized on October 1.

 

8 October

Teacher Retirement System of Texas has committed $400 million to Red River Direct Investment Fund III, managed by Blackrock. The transaction was finalized in September.

 

7 October

Former Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board's senior principal Mark Corbidge joins TPG as partner in the London office.

 

6 October

Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System has named Kirk Stebbins chief investment officer. 

 

5 October 

Temasek International has promoted Lee Theng Kiat as chief executive officer. The role was previously held by Ho Ching who will assume the role of chairman of Temasek International and remain CEO of Temasek Holdings.

 

2 October 

Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System has promoted Tom Siderewicz from deputy CIO to chief investment officer.

OPTrust  has named James Davis chief investment officer. Davis was vice president, strategy and asset mix, and chief economist at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

 

1 October

Texas Permanent School Fund approved the appointment of Neuberger Berman for a discretionary separate account to invest in private equity co-investments and secondaries.

International Finance Corporation is considering a potential $15 million commitment to the Learn Capital Partners III Co-Investment Fund.
