Jeffery Kirt will be joining Pamplona Capital Management as a partner. This is the second hire to the New York office in as many months, as the firm continues the rapid expansion of its US private equity team.
Kirt will be focused on raising the profile of Pamplona in the United States.
Prior to joining the firm, Kirt was at Oak Hill Advisors where he was a partner responsible for stressed and distressed investments. He also focused on the aerospace, automotive, and finance industries.
His appointment follows that of Bill Pruellage last month, formerly co-president at Castle Harlan, PEI reported at the time. The hires raise Pamplona’s US headcount to four, all based in New York.
Pamplona is currently investing from its most recent fund, which closed on $4 billion in June, according to Private Equity International’s research and analytics division.
