Pricoa Capital Group, the European mezzanine and private equity firm, has promoted three of its employees to the position of director.
The trio, Grégory Barbès, Thomas Krausser and Craig Thomson, are based in Paris, Frankfurt and London respectively.
Commenting on the promotions, Bruno Wanske, managing partner of Pricoa Capital, said: “I am delighted to welcome Grégory, Thomas and Craig as directors of the group, reflecting the significant contribution they have made to the business. All three have been instrumental in identifying investment opportunities in France, Germany and the UK.
“The demand for mezzanine financing is increasing, in particular as a result of equity sponsors’ more aggressive platform building strategies. With a senior team across Europe, Pricoa Capital is in an excellent position to meet this demand, by providing mezzanine debt and private equity in flexible financing structures.”
Barbès has been with Pricoa Capital since March 1996. He has led investments in France including Serse, an ATM maintenance and electronic surveillance company. Krauser joined the company in 1993 and has most recently worked on the financing for Healy Hudson, a developer of next-generation e-sourcing solutions. Thomson joined Pricoa in 1997. He has most recently worked on the management buy-in of Waterford Stanley, a manufacturer of cast iron stoves and cookers in Ireland.
