Saw Mill Capital raises $288.1m

Saw Mill Capital has raised $288.1 million to date for its Saw Mill Capital Partners II, per a SEC filing. The Briarcliff Manor-headquartered firm has set a $300 million target and began fundraising in 2015. The SEC filing did not disclose whether the capital raise constituted a final or interim close.

Its previous fund raised $270 million in 2007.

Investors that committed to Saw Mill Capital Partners II include the Santa Barbara County Employees’ Retirement System.

The fund will target buyout opportunities in business services sectors in North America.
