Three members of the team at London-based UK mid-market investor Sovereign Capital have moved up. Dominic Dalli and Simon Hitchcock have been promoted to director, while Jose Rodriguez has become an investment manager.
Dominic Dalli joined Sovereign in 2002 after five years with the healthcare team at Deloitte Corporate Finance; Simon Hitchcock also joined in 2002 after three years at Dilmun Investments, the UK private equity subsidiary of Bahrain International Bank; and Jose Rodriguez was recruited in 2004 after five years supervising M&A transactions and international operations in Mexico’s Banking and Securities Commission.
Last October, Sovereign saw managing partner Peter Brooks resign from the firm just five months after raising a new £275 million (€402 million; $486 million) fund. Brooks handed over his responsibilities to senior partners Andrew Hayden and Ryan Robson, while continuing to serve on two of the firm’s portfolio company boards.
