Two new partners at ATP PEP

The Copenhagen-based fund of funds has bolstered its senior management team by making Susanne Forsingdal and Klaus Ruhne partners.

ATP Private Equity Partners (ATP PEP), the Danish private equity fund of funds manager, has appointed two new partners.

Susanne Forsingdal, who joined ATP PEP in 2003, was previously senior vice president and head of investor relations at Danske Bank and has seven years’ experience in equity research. She is a member of the advisory board at Lake Capital Partners, Nordic Venture Partners and Wicks Communications & Media Partners.

Klaus Ruhne, who also joined the firm in 2003, was formerly a director at Danske Bank Corporate Finance focusing on M&A transactions in the Nordic region. Before that, he was a senior sell-side equity analyst for five years at Enskilda Securities in London, Stockholm and Copenhagen. He is an advisory board member at EQT IV, Gresham III and Nordic Mezzanine funds I and II.

Following the previous appointment of Torben Vangstrup, ATP PEP now has three partners reporting to managing director Jens Bisgaard-Frantzen. The team now comprises 11 investment professionals in all, representing five different nationalities.

ATP PEP, which has €1.3 billion under management, made total commitments of €325 million to 14 private equity funds during 2004 in the US and Europe. In a statement, the firm said ATP PEP I, which is 80 percent invested, has begun returning capital to limited partners two years after its final closing in February 2003.
