Valor raises $1.05bn

The Chicago-based buyout firm has held a final close on latest fund above target.

Valor Equity Partners has held a final close for Valor Equity Partners IV at $1.05 billion. It was oversubscribed, leading to an increase in the hard cap at the inception of the fundraising process.

The fund will continue to make investments ranging from $25 million to $75 million.

Mercury Capital Advisors served as placement agent for the fund IV in the U.S. and global market.
