Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a media specialist, has completed a merger and an acquisition for a portfolio company in financial information services to create a business with revenues of $100m.

Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a private equity firm dedicated to investing in the media and information industries, has merged its UK-based portfolio company, Hemscott Group, a provider of financial data and investor relations services, with i-Deal, a capital markets workflow services company.

The combined company has been named Ipreo and will have revenues of approximately $100 million for 2006.

Simultaneously, Ipreo has acquired Marketpipe, a fixed income information company.

Through the merger and acquisition, Ipreo is able to provide investment banks, investor relations communities and investors with access to issuers of equity and debt.
