Westhook Capital raises $140m

The Los Angeles-based private equity firm closes debut buyout fund.

Westhook Capital has held a final close of its debut fund, Westhook Capital Fund I, at $140 million. The vehicle is focused on buyouts of US lower middle market companies within the consumer, industrial, business services and healthcare services sectors. Westhook plans to make five to six investments from the fund in companies with an EBITDA of more than $3 million.

Endowments, family offices and other institutional investors were among the fund’s investor base.
