Yann Robard, the former head of secondaries at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), has launched a new secondaries firm, Whitehorse Liquidity Partners, Secondaries Investor has learned.
Robard recently created the firm with another partner from a Canadian pension fund, according to a source familiar with the matter, although it is not clear who that person is.
The firm has not yet started raising its debut fund, the source added.
