CalPERS approves $350m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two North American private equity funds.

California Public Employees’ Retirement System has committed $250 million to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund X and $100 million to Siris Partners IV. Both funds invest in a diversified portfolio of companies across North America.

The US public pension has a 8% target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.10%.
