DCRB confirms $75m commitment

The US-based public pension fund has backed TCV XII, according to its latest board meeting.

District of Columbia Retirement Board has confirmed a $75 million commitment to Technology Crossover Ventures Fund XII (TCV XII), according to minutes from the pension’s March 2022 board meeting.

The institution already has an established relationship with TCV as it has previously committed to Technology Crossover Ventures Fund XII’s predecessors.

DCRB currently allocates 8.1 percent to private equity, whilst its target stands at 9 percent. Its previous fund commitments range between $75 million and $100 million, predominately focused in North America.
