IFC proposes $15m commitment

The World Bank Group’s member to back a Latin America-focused tech fund.

International Finance Corporation (IFC) has proposed to commit up to $15 million to Kaszek Ventures’ fourth venture capital fund, Kaszek Ventures IV. IFC is also expected to make co-investments in the Fund.

Kaszek Ventures IV will invest in non-manufacturing early-stage software and web-based technology companies across Latin America. IFC committed the same amount of capital to the predecessor vehicle, Kaszek Ventures III.
