Illinois Municipal Retirement System has approved $125 million-worth of commitments to private equity funds, according to minutes from the pension’s July 2020 board meeting.
The commitments comprise $75 million to Clearlake Flagship Plus Partners; alongside $25 million apiece to HIG Bayside Loan Opportunity Fund VI and EnCap Energy Transition Fund I.
The $43.11 billion US public pension has a 4.95 percent allocation to private equity.
